On 14th December 2011, this website was pre-launched at EPIC STUDIOS in Norwich, England. Lard’s creative team, Daniel Saunders and Keith Tutt, played host to family and friends as Lard took his first tentative steps in the world. New short films, which will soon appear on the website and the accompanying You Tube channel, were premiered at the event. ‘It’s just great’, said Lard’s originator Daniel Saunders, ‘to see the little fellow finally on his way in the big world. It’s going to be quite a journey. Keith Tutt, Bafta-winning writer and producer on BBC TV’s ‘Pablo – the little red fox’ was equally enthusiastic: ‘It’s very exciting to see this important project take shape. If things go well Lard will be on the world scene for a long, long, time.’ Let’s hope so!
